Nursery admissions

We accept children into our nursery from the term after their 3rd birthday, where they can attend for mornings, afternoons or full days. Our nursery runs with a capacity of 39 places per session, due to child:staff ratios. 

We offer the statutory 15 Free Early Learning (FEL) hours provision and the extended 30 Free Early Learning (FEL) hours, subject to eligibility. Families can also choose to pay for additional hours, subject to availability. 

Applying for a place

Our nursery has three intakes per year:

• September
• January
• Easter

 The deadline for applying for a nursery place for each intake is:

• September start – deadline is 1st May
• January start – deadline is 1st October
• Easter start – deadline is 1st January 

To apply for a place families need to complete a nursery application form. These can be requested from the school office. 

Visits to nursery

We always welcome visits to our nursery as we believe this is the only way for you and your children to get a really good feel for our school and all that we stand for. Please call the school office should you wish to arrange a visit and come and meet us, we are always happy to show you around our nursery and discuss our educational offer.

We also hold nursery tours throughout the year for families who want to look around the nursery. Please contact the school office for more information about these.

Should you have children both in nursery, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, we can arrange for you to look around our Infant site, as well as our Junior site. 

Nursery visits - April 2025

If you (or someone you know) would like your child to start nursery with us in September then we are holding opening evenings on:

• Thursday 27th March at 3:30pm
• Tuesday 22nd April at 4pm

These open evenings will allow you to look around nursery and ask staff any questions you may have.
