As children move into year 1 they move out of the EYFS and into Key Stage 1. The school day stays the same as it was in Foundation Stage 2 (8:40am - 3:10pm) but the content of the school curriculum changes to reflect the Statutory National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.

During the school day, children in year 1 and year 2 will take part in daily phonic sessions, writing and maths lessons.
